This is absolutely fascinating. I've always wondered why, if the Right says our country was founded on "Christian principles," that a cross wasnt part of our original flag.
Also, how many gospels/written records were rejected at Nicea because they didnt align with politics at the time? Even though they may have been divinely inspired and come closer to Christian truth than some writings that became the Bible?
Thanks for the comment, Tim... yes, I agree. If the founders had wanted the country to be founded on Christianity, they would have said so explicitly...why any obfuscation? And, I agree about the politics of the Council of Nicaea...I'm afraid what we lost is so much more substantial than anything we might have gained. But that is what happens when politics and religion intertwine.
Thanks so much for the shoutout and for this outstanding piece, Mr. Henderson. You’ve drawn the global map that so many of us have been tracking piece by piece. The manipulation of faith into a coercive, dominionist force—wrapped in nationalism and cloaked in the flag—is something I’ve been trying to expose from the ground up. Your analysis connects it across borders and centuries. Grateful to be part of the broader puzzle you’re helping reveal.
You really are something. Gotta digest all the great statistical (but irrelevant to the topic research) you sited. Question: where are you on the faith (to Jesus Christ) spectrum. Pray tell us. Kinda makes a big difference. Can’t wait to hear. I look forward to your blather each week.

Thank you. I learned a lot!

Thanks for these insights. They explain a lot of what we’re experiencing.
