So, Donald Trump’s closing argument to the American people is that he wants to be the “protector of women.” Okay, let’s think about this for a moment. Put your “thinking caps” on for this one.
On second thought, one doesn’t need a thinking cap to understand the stupid shit Donald says.
Consider the following reality of Donald Trump’s history with the opposite sex:
Donald is responsible for stripping away the bodily autonomy of just about every woman in the United States by appointing judges who had every deliberate intention of overturning Roe even though they lied about it during Congressional hearings….
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
Donald was found guilty of sexual abuse in the E Jean Carrol case for having raped her in a fitting room in New York City…
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
Donald is on tape and video bragging about being about to grab women by the p-ssy because they let you do it if you are a celebrity…
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
Donald has cheated on every one of his three wives with porn stars and Playboy models and has trashed his wives time after time….
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
Then there is Amy Dorris, a former model, who has accused Donald Trump of forcibly kissing and groping her at the US Tennis Open in 1997…
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
There are no less than 18 women who have accused Donald Trump of varying inappropriate behavior, including allegations of sexual harassment or sexual assault…
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
Donald believes that he can be the “protector of women” when they don’t need or want his protection, and he has no self-awareness to realize that he is their biggest nightmare…
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women”
When he was President, Trump fantasized out loud about his sexual desire for his daughter. Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump’s breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that prompted Chief of Staff Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter.
Yet,
Donald wants to “protect women?”
Donald, were you there when Amber Nicole Thurman suffered from a grave infection that her suburban Atlanta hospital was well-equipped to treat but didn’t because of their abortion restrictions? She’d taken abortion pills and encountered a rare complication; she had not expelled all the fetal tissue from her body. She showed up at Piedmont Henry Hospital in need of a routine procedure to clear it from her uterus, called a dilation and curettage, or D&C.
Thurman waited in pain in a hospital bed, worried about what would happen to her 6-year-old son, as doctors monitored her infection spreading, her blood pressure sinking, and her organs beginning to fail. It took 20 hours for doctors to operate finally. By then, it was too late. She died.
Where were you, Donald? Were you protecting Amber Nicole Thurman?
And where were you, Donald, when Josseli Barnica, in Texas, died after doctors there delayed treating her miscarriage for 40 hours because of the abortion restrictions in that state? Barnica is the third woman reported to have died in recent years after being unable to access abortion legally or having her medical care delayed.
Where were you, Donald Trump? Were you protecting Josseli Barnica?
Oh, and Donald, while you are pretending to “protect women,” the rate of maternal mortality cases in Texas rose by 56% from 2019 to 2022 compared with just 11% nationwide during the same time period because of draconian laws passed in that state after the Dobbs decision.
And….Donald wants to “protect women?”
And Donald, did you protect Candi Miller in Georgia? She was the mother of three who realized she had unintentionally gotten pregnant in the fall of 2022 when Georgia’s new abortion ban gave her no choice. At 41, Miller had lupus, diabetes, and hypertension and didn’t want to wait until the situation became dire. But she avoided doctors and navigated an abortion on her own at home because she knew she wouldn’t get the help she needed.
Her teenage son watched her suffer for days after she took the abortion pills, bedridden and moaning. In the early hours of Nov. 12, 2022, her husband found her unresponsive in bed, her 3-year-old daughter at her side. She died.
And…Donald wants to “protect women?”
Were you protecting Jaci Statton in Oklahoma, Donald? Jaci had a “molar pregnancy,” which meant the fetus would never be viable. A molar pregnancy can have serious complications, including a rare form of cancer. A molar pregnancy requires early treatment. When Jaci and her husband sought medical treatment for her condition, the hospital staff told her that she could not get a surgical abortion until she became much sicker.
"They were very sincere; they weren't trying to be mean," Statton, 25, says. "They said, 'The best we can tell you to do is sit in the parking lot, and if anything else happens, we will be ready to help you. But we cannot touch you unless you are crashing in front of us or your blood pressure goes so high that you are fixing to have a heart attack.'"
The Stattons were eventually told to go to another state where abortions are legal. She and her husband Dustin ended up driving three hours to an abortion clinic in Kansas, where she was able to get a D&C. She's now facing another surgery to remove more cancerous tissue, and she may need chemotherapy.
Were you “protecting” Jaci Statton Donald? (oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt your golf game)
And while we’re at it, Donald, a study led by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health researchers estimates that infant deaths in Texas increased more than expected in the year following the state’s 2021 ban on abortion in early pregnancy, especially among infants with congenital anomalies.
The Texas law prohibiting abortions after a fetal heartbeat could be detected—as early as five or six weeks—went into effect September 1, 2021. At the time, the law—Senate Bill 8, or S.B. 8—was the most stringent state abortion law in the country. It did not allow exemptions for congenital anomalies. Infant deaths in Texas rose from 1,985 to 2,240, a year-over-year increase of 255 deaths.
And Donald wants to “protect women.”
And by the way, Donald, in Wisconsin, Carley Zeal, an OB/GYN in southern Wisconsin and fellow with Physicians for Reproductive Health told The Washington Post that an unidentified woman was going through a miscarriage and needed to have the fetal tissue removed from her uterus. However, because of Wisconsin’s outright ban on abortion, the woman was turned away by emergency room staff at a hospital in the state. Dr. Zeal said that she saw the woman more than 10 days later when she was still bleeding severely and at serious risk of infection.
Were you looking out for this Wisconsin woman, Donald?
No, I didn’t think so.
Donald Trump is a sexual predator, a patriarchal misogynistic bigot, and someone who would grab your daughter’s p-ssy if he could. Never let your daughter come within two miles of Donald Trump. He needs to be on the sexual abuse watch list. Nothing Donald Trump says about women is authentic or true. He is a sexist to the core. And he is a sad example of a man with no integrity or virtue.
Do not believe anything this man says because everything he has done in his life contradicts what he says he will do. There is nothing authentic, genuine, or honest about Donald Trump…it is all smoke and mirrors and hocus-pocus magical thinking.
He would be every woman’s worst nightmare if he were elected.
This week’s final comment gives away his true thoughts when he says, “I will protect women whether they want me to or not.” Yep, that pretty well sums up the stupid shit Donald says.
Women…you all know what to do…elect Kamala Harris, who will genuinely look out for your interests.
Why ANY woman with a functioning brain would vote for ANY Republican, much less Donald Trump, is incomprehensible!
Absolutely.
